series: Fall in St. Louis
Die Installation ist auf meiner letzten Reise nach St. Louis im Herbst entstanden.
Die Vorstellung, dass das Buch im Baumstamm wie aus dem Holz selbst gewachsen ist, schafft eine wunderbare Verbindung zwischen Literatur und Natur.
Die Seiten des Buches konnten sich sanft im Wind bewegen, und die Farben des Herbstlaubs haben die Seiten in ein warmes Licht eingetaucht.
The installation was created on my last trip to St. Louis in the fall.
The idea of the book in the tree trunk, as if it had grown out of the wood itself, creates a wonderful connection between literature and nature.
The pages of the book were able to move gently in the wind, and the colors of the autumn leaves bathed the pages in a warm light.
